Who do Mormons worship?

They believe God and Jesus are united in their perfect love for us but that each is a distinct personage with His own perfect, glorified body of flesh and bone (see Doctrine and Covenants 130:22). They believe God is the Father of humankind and has prepared a plan for His children to be happy and to return to live with Him. As part of His plan, God provided a Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, to lead the way. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). How do Latter-day Saints worship God the Father? Latter-day Saints worship God the Father through love, obedience, and devotion to Him in their daily lives. They worship God through individual and family prayer as they seek His guidance and help in their lives. Latter-day Saints worship God the Father by following Jesus Christ back to Him. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" (John 14:6). How do Latter-day Saints worship Jesus Christ? Latter-day Saints worship Jesus Christ by remembering and reverencing Him for the life He lived and the sacrifice He made in behalf of humankind. They worship Him by exercising faith in Him and striving to follow His commandments. One of the sincerest ways they worship Jesus Christ is by partaking of the sacrament each week during Sunday worship services. Latter-day Saints reaffirm their commitment to God and Jesus Christ as they sing a sacramental hymn, listen to the sacrament prayers, and partake of the bread and water which are administered to symbolize the body and blood of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice.
